I know basketball recruiting (and to a slighty lesser extent football recruiting) is primarily based on performance during the summer for most top recruits. Top prospects attend camps (football and basketball) and play in summer circuits (in basketball) and 7v7 leagues (fball) against other top prospects to gain exposure and earn offers. How will the sports hiatus affect teams ability to offer 2021 prospects? Is there a higher potential for 2021 recruits to fly under the radaf or end up at lesser schools because they wont be able to showcase their talents this summer? Also how will schools adjust?

I predict more recruits stay closer to home.

At least in the north, I don’t think we see dominos start to fall until the summer months. Many kids have OVs set for June, and sticking to that timeline unless dates push again. If that happens, schools that hosted kids on unofficial visits will be playing at an advantage — lends well for programs close to home.
