Not on the same level but Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers was a pretty amazing hand off of QB talent.

I'm a huge Luck fan. He kills it on third down and he's got more mobility than Manning or Brady have ever dreamed of. He's big enough to take hits and smart enough to avoid a lot of them.

He's seriously the perfect QB. We'll see what the Colts do with that through the years.

He's a very good quarterback, but was lucky not to turn the ball over four times last night:

- Sacked by Robert Ayers, fumbled and the ball bounced right back into his arms.
- Fumbled on a 3rd and 1, Bradshaw recovered and scampered for 12 yards.
- Gifted an INT to Antrel Rolle, who dropped it.
- Rodgers-Cromartie seem to have intercepted Luck's pass in the end zone only to have it taken from him by Hilton, which counted as a touchdown.

Let's relax gents. Manning was second team all pro in his second and third years. Luck didnt acomplish that.

But pump the breaks on comparing that straight up.

In an older era without the rule changes...Manning would probably be gone from the league when Luck entered and maybe Brady.

There were some joker QBs in the early 2000 time when Manning was entering...

I'd say Luck has had it much tougher to crack All-Pro teams with Manning, Brady, Brees, etc still in the league.

Going from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck. Man...

I can only hope the Saints benefit like that when the time comes for Brees to retire.

The real scary part is how good he'll be once he stops missing the easy throws.

The Colts as a whole could end up having 3 of the top 10 QBs of all time. I heard that Johnny U guy was OK.
