I agree, although I've seen teams do worse drafting K/P earlier in the draft (Janikowski, Nugent, BJ Sander in third round a few years back).

Uugghhh I'd forgotten about the Akers pick-up. As many close games as Detroit has each season I'm sure we can depend on him to seal the deal
Re: Kenjon Barner combining him with Cam sounds like a home run but I feel like Shula's the wild card going into next season
I think Carolina made some moves to shore up the Secondary by taking two DT's to pressure the QB vs overdrafting CB's and safeties hopefully reducing the chances of getting Nakumara'd again
