I second the posters telling you go just pull cash from an ATM when you get there. I have been to Europe twice and have never carried Euros with me from the USA. There will be an ATM with a fair fee right when you step off the plane. Your bank decides the rest...

I took out $200 from an ATM on the streets of Amsterdam back in 2003 and it still hasn't come out of my account.
