Mortgage Transfer

My mortgage got sold to Freedom Mortgage. They said there would be a 60 day grace period where I would get no late fees and no reports to my credit. Would it be dumb to wait the 60 days and then pay them to avoid a couple mortgage payments here? OR are the payments going to stack up and I end up paying them anyway.

They’re saying the transfer of servicing may cause hiccups and they’ll be forgiving. In no way does that mean that you should withhold payment. That would be stupid.

Just pay the thing, man. What are you going to gain?
