Mortgage Transfer

My mortgage got sold to Freedom Mortgage. They said there would be a 60 day grace period where I would get no late fees and no reports to my credit. Would it be dumb to wait the 60 days and then pay them to avoid a couple mortgage payments here? OR are the payments going to stack up and I end up paying them anyway.

Just pay like you nornally do. There is nothing to be gained.

They’re saying the transfer of servicing may cause hiccups and they’ll be forgiving. In no way does that mean that you should withhold payment. That would be stupid.

This. They just mean if you send your layment to the old servicer or didnt read your mail and you have auto pay that there wont be any lates reported/late fees added

Make sure you pay them
