Just wondering what kind of jobs a masters of information systems would lead to?
I have a PharmD, but with the way the market is, I want something to add to my Resume and have an out if I need it. I’m looking at doing an online program (MSU has a pretty prestigious online program for that and business). I may not even use it TBH, but if I do decide to, it seems like it could help lead to a Data Analyst job or like a software engineer position for an insurance company. Am I crazy for doing/ thinking this?

I do and it helped obtain a manager level position with an advisory company. The 20 years of IT experience I have also helped. If you lack IT experience I think a better use of your time and money may be to get some experience in the specific IT area you're interested in and then obtain the most highly regarded certification in that area.
