You can get rid of Brian Kelly without having to pay buyout upfront

All you have to do is demote him and hire a new HC. You still have to pay him his salary for the next 6 years buy you don't have to float the money upfront.

Hmmmm that actually sounds like an ok plan; however it depends on how his contract reads if that’s doable or not.

He can still be the HC but not the active one. Just don't allow him to have anything to do with the team. He will eventually settle to save fzce.

The wording will not matter an assistant coach can run the team under that title. Woodward can literally stop Kelly from being on the sidelines.

You never have to pay the buyout up front. It is paid at the same schedule as he would have received it originally. We are still paying O because of this. Just because you fire someone doesn’t mean they get the entire remaining contract as a lump sum.

I’m guessing that contractual law wasn’t your focus in middle school?
