I don't think so P&G. I haven't seen much of Yeldon, but from the little I have seen he will be significantly better than Richardson. This guy looks like a superstar if he keeps his head on right and doesn't get hurt.

Wait what?? You openly admitted that you havent seen much of Yeldon, but say he will be significantly better than TRich, who was the best RB to come out since AP/DMC? That does not make much sense to me. Yeldon is def a very talented player, but hes not even in the same league as TRich was. Lets get real here people. Hes a good looking fresh RB. TRich was NFL ready out of high-school. I think some people are forgetting how good TRich was. And if anything, Yeldon looks just like Blue when running the ball.

And in regards to the OP, Id be more worried about Lacy than Yeldon. Yes, Yeldon has better break away speed and vision, but this will be his 1st time in TS and 1st time playing against a strong DL. Lacys been here and hes played against the best in college football for multiple years now. And, the Bama offense seems to pass more this season than most years. Lacy is their best pass blocking RB and is a dynamic receiver out of the backfield. And i don't get why people think we didn't go after Lacy. He had an offer from us. Grade issues came up and we took Ford. Didn't think he was going to qualify so we backed off on him. If he would of committed to us, I guarantee you everyone would be very happy with his game. And to the people saying he wouldn't crack our 5 RB stable, well that's just absurd. Hes a better RB than Hilliard and Ware. Fords a change of pace back, so I wont put him in that list but if it came down to picking 1 between Lacy and Ford, Id take Lacy. Only RBs on our team I like more than Lacy are Hill and Blue.

My only concern is the very young corners. If they can step up to the plate for this game it will be huge...

this...I think our oline has had time to jell and I think we will run on bama and give Mett enough time to keep Saban honest. I think Mett has seen enough film to now recognize bama blitz packages and should be able to locate/hit the hot receiver.
I think Chavis is ready and has a plan to contain, disrupt and bring pain to AJM. I think, as you said, the key is our young cb's in tight coverage vs the bama wides. we win this battle it frees Chavis to send in the ninja's.

I believe I hope this happens. whatever...you're still my team/staff/program/school. geaux.
