It's an awful division.
That ASU game will sting for the rest of my life.
This season's Wisconsin defense will be younger, but smaller/faster. This is exactly the type of defense Andersen/Aranda envision and the pieces are starting to fall into place.
What you saw last season was actually a very good defense, statistically, but not nearly as athletic as this defense will be.
Both Chikwe Obasih and Alec James, for example, are pretty special athletes at defensive end.
Does a smaller, faster defense equal production? Maybe, maybe not. Watching the Arizona State tape and drawing conclusions is pretty worthless, though.
