I made a personal decision to not go to the Chick-Fil-A this year. I've been to the last 3 Peach Bowls, 2 Independecnce Bowls, Cotton Bowl,Capitol One Bowl, 3 Sugar Bowls and the BCS Championship Game last year. I've been a season ticket holder over 15 years and I'm not a Bandwagon Fan.
I'm just a Pissed Off Fan.
I haven't received one away game request or bowl request for the last two years.Now they are begging me. If I wasn't good enough for Auburn or South Carolina tickets then I'm sure they don't want my hard earned money for the Eat Mor Chiken Bowl.I used to cut back on Christmas to help pay for my entire family to go to these bowls. Those days are over. Screw you LSU. Let your Fat Cat TAF boosters foot the bill for this one.

My personal reason...I made three road games this year, I went to Atlanta for the SEC Title Game last year and I'm a bit burnt out.
Doesn't help that for the last four road games I have applied for, the SEC Title Game last year and the MNC game last year I didn't get the "please buy tickets to this game" e-mail, but the "LSU thanks you for your support but..." e-mail, i.e. the finger.
But I managed to get tickets to all those I wanted to go to, most at more than face value.
And I'll go to many of these as long as I'm able. But I'm sitting this one out and hoping for a better things next year.

I understand it is difficult after the season we've had. I don't understand the intricacies of the TAF "monster" b/c I'm not a member. I appreciate the candid responses though.

some people just can't afford it. i went to all home games and 3 of the 4 away games.
i'm planning on going to all the games next year including Washington so i'm trying to do a little saving. who knows what could happen to the economy or my job within the next year.
