The guy claims he's "had a problem" with us for 3 years. He's never mentioned it before. He has poor conflict resolution skills. I think maybe he just doesn't like the fact I yell my head off for just about every single defensive down. I'm just doing what the cheerleaders tell me to do - its called participating in the game.

I would DEFINITELY have words with this guy immediately at the beginning of the next game! Call him out and make him feel too stupid to come back!

This EXACT thing happened to me at the UGA game

The dude bitched and moaned and he told his wife to get the cops. He told me you can't drink alcohol in the stadium!

I asked him if he wanted me to give him a cookie for "upholding the law"

On a side note:

At the SAME UGA GAME this year, I was jumping up and down after the first LSU touchdown, and must have slightly bumped into the guy next to me without realizing it (some old dude...prolly in his late 40s, who looked like a douchey professor or something). After the celebration was over, he tapped me on the shoulder. Not knowing what was going on, I said "Yes Sir?". He said "Don't push me!".

Needless to say, I lost it.

I basically cursed this dude out and told him to stop being such a little whiny bitch. I told him that his kind was ruining Tiger Stadium. I basically made him look stupid in front of his wife, and neither of them said a thing!

Then, I proceeded to enjoy the game while he cowered in fear for the rest of it.

Bastid.

He told my wife he's going to make sure we don't have our season tickets next year. Short of getting a restraining order I don't see how he'd do that.

When my wife confronted him, he actually said something like "..and I'm not the only person whose had a problem with you guys" and tried to get the people sitting to his left and his right to chime in with their support - they ignored him. Whatever problems they've had with us they clearly don't think it was so bad that we should be kicked out.

I've often thought to myself after games maybe I was too loud and boistrous - but this prick nor anyone else sitting around us has never complained in the past. Its apparently been building up for three years and instead of confronting me about it like a man and saying "You know maybe you're a little too loud" he calls out the cops.

That's alright - next year he'll know what loud is. I'm going to make sure I sit directly behind this prick at every game. He said he's had those seats 39 years - if I can help it I'm going to make his 40th his last.

Yeah, that't the only reaction I've ever gotten when I tell this story. I've been the "drunk a-hole" before many times, especially when I was younger, and my wife will also vouch for that but not that day. I was really sick and thought that it would be best if I went to get some 1st aid. I couldn't believe what happened. The trooper must have really been having a bad day or something. Looking back it's funny as hell now but at the time it really sucked. I had to pay $200 and do a pre-trial intervention which included attending an alcohal abuse class.

You're lucky.. at least he wasn't such a douche that he called the cops on you.

WTF is wrong with these people? Its OK to spill a drink as long as there's no booze in it? The irony of all this is that my step mom doesn't even drink and the drink she spilt hadn't a drop of alcohol in it.

I remember when I was a kid at tiger stadium getting doused in whiskey and coke that people were just tossing into the air. Now you can't even spill a virgin coke in the ground without some stuffy frickface getting pissed about it.

I think it was public intoxication now that you mention it. Still bullshite though. I called the athletics office and bitched about what happened and got in touch with someone involved with the 1st aid stations and they basically appologized to me and said that most of the people working in the 1st aid stations are volunteers so he couldn't fire or ever repremand them but that he would "talk" with them to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

There's a problem with our legal system when someone gets arrested for that in Tiger Stadium. I know a guy who got arrested for public intoxication at Mardi Gras.

The public intoxication law basically exists for one reason - to give police the power to arrest anyone at any time.

not in tigerstadium but i almost got thrown out the georgia dome during the elite 8 game vs texas. we were sitting behind some texas fans and i was drunk as frick and kept yelling shite. so this texas fan about 40 or so with a family turns around and says something to me i flip him off and tell him to climb up here and im gona beat him down in front of his retarded looking kid. he got pissed went and got security. so they talk to me and they couldn't decide who to believe him or my friends so they just relocated me to another section

What I meant was I'm going to annoy this guy to no end so he'd better get a new spot.

Unless he makes a full and public apology in front of all the other people who sit around us. Then I would forgive him. Until then - I intend to make him jump ten feet in the air at least once a game. I can't wait until the first playing of the "You Suck" song next year - I'm just going to yell it directly in his ears as loud as I can.

im pretty lucky in tiger stadium bc my season tickets are in the upper south and everyone around me is pretty cool about my shite and used to me jumping up and down and stuff. they also know how to be polite and ask me to turn down the cursing when they do actually have a kid around.

6 or 7 years, sitting pretty high up in the student section, someone bet me that I couldnt rach the field with a water bottle. I chunked it like an idiot and it landed right next to a photographer by the endzone. Security saw me, amazing eyesite. Anyways I was probably the only sober person there and I got escorted out. Dumb thing to do, but it was a great throw.

i usually get an upper deck ticket sneak in 3 or 4 water bottles of whiskey and then go to the student section. Ive never had any trouble. my brother got kicked out of the ole miss game 3 years ago because some stupid ole miss girl brought a bottle of jack inside her purse. she pulled out the bottle in the upper deck and they were all escorted out 5 minutes later.
