I think the Kansas coach criticizing the LSU schedule being almost all home games to start the season. They came in and took 2 out of 3. The rest is history. The inflated won loss record was done at home to inferior teams.

It was Kansas. Partially agree. Arkansas was not an inferior team, We were definitely not as good as 32-6, but we are better than 2-12. Confidence has a lot to do with what's going on now. Sometimes all it takes is a big inning or a late inning rally to change things around. Baseball is a crazy game played by a lot of guys who are sometimes head cases. Kind of like kickers.

My bad thanks. But the Coach was making a fair criticism. He was saying how the schedule almost guaranteed LSU homefield advantage for the tournament. He was almost correct until the wheels fell off.

When they won the title last year. Complacency is human nature, especially when you are dealing with young people.Bertman had this image as being Mr nice guy,but you talked to anyone who played for him and you get a different picture. he knew how to push all the right buttons. Dealing with success can be harder than getting there. IMHO Mainieri should have pulled a Bertman. I forget the year, but they were under achieving and skip brought em all in but Walker and Johnson. Made em sign transfer papers. Said if they didn't start playing like they belonged at LSU they wouldn't be here next year. Got their attention.I just think from the stafff on down no one has handled the post championship deal very well.
