Straight from Dandydon
"Safety Greg Brooks missed the game due to an undisclosed medical emergency. In his postgame comments, Coach Brian Kelly did not disclose the nature of the emergency, saying only, “Our thoughts and prayers are with Greg. That was tough on the guys and tough on all of us.” Kelly later said he didn’t know when Brooks might return and would have to wait for the medical report. Here’s hoping and praying Brooks is okay. After the game, coach Kelly awarded the game ball to Brooks, which elicited a big applause from the team."

Word earlier was vertigo.
If that's what it is, then it can be treated. It's tough to go through, though (speaking from personal experience).
I pray that it's nothing worse.
