What Should the Alabama Game Next Season Be Called?


I don't know if there will be any official nickname for this game, but I can tell you this: This will be the night Death Valley is reborn.

For the past nine years, our stadium hasn't been quite as raucous as in years past for a couple of reasons. Success has spoiled some fans, plenty of daytime CBS games, the offense just hasn't gotten anyone excited, etc...

November 3rd, 2012 will be the night the hunger and thirst for blood will return to the stands like the old days. Florida in 2007 was pretty loud because that game was like our right of passage into elite status, but this game will represent a return of epic Death Valley status, where opposing fans and teams actually question, "what the hell are we doing here?"

I hope they move it to fricking 8:30 on national TV, and I hope there are 94,000 SRO people and the sound is like nothing heard since the 50's, or from the September 1979 when #1 USC came to town.
