Obviously there is still a large portion of the season to go. I was just thinking that I can’t think of a time in recent memory where a team went from a dumpster fire, to NIT, to a top 16 seed in 2 years. How much more do you think he needs to do to be in contention?

Nationally probably no chance...

SEC it depends on how the rest of the season plays out, but Rick Barnes is also definitely in the running there

Win the SEC ... then he will be in top 2 or 3.

So they don’t really care about the whole “doing more with less” angle?

If wade wins the sec, would be a travesty if he did not get SEC coach of the year. And he should be in consideration nationally. LSU Needed to take a step up to be called a dumpster fire less than 2 years ago.

Dang, I would have thought dumpster fire sufficed. Would you say abomination was more accurate?

Rick Barnes or Ben Howland will probably get it.

Rick Barnes

Strong possibility, and rightfully so.

Ben Howland

Nah. He's obviously done a nice job in turning them around, but I don't think he belongs in the same conversation as Barnes and Wade at this point. They're 5-6 in the league right now. Still some basketball left to play, though.

Tennessee has less talent than LSU. They are just older.

Barnes had his team on the way up last year so not really a surprise but LSU doing what they are doing this year come on mane it’s easy

If LSU wins the regular season SEC title I don't see any other possibility than Wade for SEC COTY

It was a joke, but you constantly shite on this team. Good to see you’re still here with us that’s all.

Ok, I will buy that. I think Williams and that other kid are probably on par with LSU in terms of talent, but I will buy that. What I really am thinking about though is the trajectory switch for LSU. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think the same thing happened for Tennessee

Edit: Grant Williams is who I was referring to

I’m like a father who realizes his child’s potential is all . Everyone has seen frustrations with inconsistent play from certain players is all I have expressed along the way.

That is absolutely correct. Tenn was picked to win the SEC. It's not a surprise. Still being undefeated at this point with a team who has less NBA prospects than LSU is impressive. COTY could be the winner of the LSU vs Tenn game next weekend.
