Just lost your composure out there with all the namecalling and such, that's all. No problem with supporting the team, but that doesn't mean you can always rationally believe that LSU will win every game. Everyone on this board knows Kirk Herbstreit doesn't control anything; they were just saying that they agree with him.

I remember this. I'm not saying I'm confident about this game because this has been such a crazy year, but anyone that really thinks we don't have a chance in this game is just drinking the kool-aid of the week. There is a lot that can happen between Thanksgiving weekend and New Year's Eve. Plus I like the way our Tigers show up for bowl games.

Honestly....if you were not an LSU fan or a GT fan, and you stood back and took an objective look at the performances these teams have put on on the field this year, you'd probably have GT as a prohitive favorite as well.
We lost to Arkansas.......who is the worst team in the SEC hands down.
We were down by 28 to Troy.....need not comment here..
We had a dogfight with Auburn....who turned out to be horrible.
We got destroyed by Florida...
We got manhandled by Ole Miss....
Our best game was Alabama...which we lost at home.
Seriously.....if you didn't know the players...and didn't believe in the depth the defense has.......you would be betting on GT as well.
Now, with that being said, I'm an LSU fan, and believe we should win....because I believe there is talent on this team that has underperformed...But, if we play like we did against Ark., Ole Miss, Troy, Fla. ....we are going to get our asses kicked. Period.

RUMPROAST thats how the game should be looked at by either fan. Just because your a fan doesnt mean you cant say that our chances of winning arent good. its not bad or anything just being a fan doesnt mean you have to be biased on opinions

Agreed. I'm just responding to those who are in disbelief that Herbstreit would say that GT is a lock. Objectively, and based on their most recent performances, they probably are. (But again, that is why the game is played, right?)
