I get it, but let’s take a rational, non emotionally charged look at how other coaches would see that move so soon removed from fielding the greatest team in CFB history and firing the coach who put that together in the wake of a crazy pandemic year where everyone bolted for the NFL.
I’m not too sure how well that would be received by prospective coaches worth their weight.

Pelini and Linehan weren't part of that team, so not where the issue would come

No issues with that, but if we’re talking O, then that would be a real sticky situation IMO.
