I like the move but more importantly I hope who ever returns punts gets plenty of opportunities on Saturday night!

I could not agree more. This would have been one of the first changes I would have made if I was Orgeron. White misjudges at least 50% of the punts he fields on the fly, and he lets a lot of punts land before fielding them...the most dangerous play in football. The ones he lets drop that he does not later field on the bounce typically roll 15 yds further toward our goal-line, killing us in the field position battle.

He tendency to run backwards sometimes loses yards, but more often results in a block in the back penalty.

I think he is fundamentally the worst punt returner LSU has had in my memory.

Donte has experience as a punt returner and a damn good one at that. Hell be fine at this new position, I trust coach o judgement so far so good.

Yeah, let's not give our most explosive player more chances to make explosive plays.

Hey let's replace a sure handed veteran punt returner who is 2nd all time in punt return TDs.

You are retarded.

I think that the Jacksonville State return made him a little overconfident, but I'm much more comfortable with him back there than with anyone else.

Hey, why aren't you coaching for LSU?

You seem to know more than all of the coaches on staff.

Tre White is sure handed...no way you take him off punt returns. Bad move if true....

I like what they did with trindon and chad jones. They put trindon back for punts where they weren't going to be pinned deep. They put chad back when they wanted a more sure handed returner back there especially when most were fair catches. I think Rueban did that as well.

Might as well. White is moving on to the pros and they have to get the next electrifying punt returner in a long line of excellent LSU ST returners ready to go.
