GTFO!!
You sound like a moron. National ranking of a whopping #17 made your mouth water. 3rd in the SEC behind Nutt, and you think that is ok? Go root for Wisconsin or something. They are always 3rd in the Big Ten, nationally ranked at end of season, and maybe New Years Day bowl.

Music to my ears. We have too much talent to be losing to the likes of Ole Miss and Penn State. The Alabama and Florida loss, I can stomach. The Ole Miss and Penn State losses are unacceptable (especially in the way we lost both). 3rd in the SEC West....that's bullshite and it needs to be addressed. Immediately.

LSU is NOT headed in the right direction, ever since Miles took over we've been slipping a little bit more each year... We could have lost to Arkansas this year and finished out of the top 25... Things aren't going well here. It's not that we don't have talent... WE HAVE A TON OF IT... That is what makes this quest for being mediocre so scary...

But anyways... GO TIGERS!

Les Miles

2005 LSU 11–2 7–1 1st (West) W Chick-fil-A
2006 LSU 11–2 6–2 2nd (West) W Sugar †
2007 LSU 12–2 6–2 1st (West) W BCS NCG
2008 LSU 8–5 3–5 3rd (West) W Chick-fil-A — —
2009 LSU 9–4 5–3 2nd (West) L Capital One Bowl

Could have lost to Arkansas this year to put us back at 8-5.

Do you not see a trend... idiot?

that is his job...to throw opinions out there and hope they create a ripple. somebody sees it...gets their panties in a wad...posts it...and others are led to the site where your brain gets bombarded with flashcoms or self promotion. as to the content, sportwriters are even more notorious as bandwagon jumpers than the mutts that call themselves TigerFans. frick'em all.

Mine is that Bama's toughest regular season game will happen in Baton Rouge, just as in '08 when they were more than fortunate to win in OT.

this bigtime...colt david doesn't gag and we win in regulation. miles could easily be 3-0 against nick...and nick will tell you that. seaux it geauxs.

The trend is present, just like it was when he won 11, 11, and 12 games his first three (3) years. You can look at the numbers and point to the eight (8) win season as the bottom of the cyle, improving to nine (9) this season and trending to ten (10) or even eleven (11) next season. Why not? Other than the tired "Les is an idiot" argument I am not sure what you can rely upon to think that the trend is negative mathematically and that the team will have a bad year.

I think that Coach Miles has made the necessary changes, (I'll grant you with the exception of Crowton) and he'll get this thing back on track.

Miles took over in 05 and in 07 the Tigers were NC!

That makes you idiot material.

We could have lost to Arkansas making that 8 losses... Then the trend goes down...

My point is WE ARE WAY TOO TALENTED TO LOSE THAT MANY GAMES!

If you don't realize we are losing too many games with too much talent then that make YOU an idiot.

Christ if we are counting games that we "could have lost" against a coach than literally every coach in America sucks.

Thanks. While everyone has a right to their opinion, I've grown tired of those that keep saying that the program is going into the crapper. We've got a "damn strong" head coach. Yeah, he's a few things up the last couple of seasons (Dual D Coordinators/Ole Miss clock management), but I still think he will get it done at the end of the day. Anybody that thinks that LSU needs to run Miles out of town on a rail is thinking crazy. Some folks on here have lost perspective due to being spoiled by the last decade of success. Keep the faith.

we'll see how they replace Rolando McClain and Fat Cody.

They will replace them with good players who are well coached and will perform well, just like all good programs do when they lose players. They sure as hell won't flounder in mediocrity for two years because they lost a couple of great players.

3 LB, 3 DL, both starting CBs and a safety?

I don't think Alabama is going to go undefeated next year. If they did, it would be a third straight regular season they've gone unscathed. Right now, to me, the Florida game and the game at Arkansas will be their two toughest tests.
frick that, we ARE going to make Alabama hurt this year in Death Valley.
