The fascination with going for it on fourth down

Especially in your own territory. Analytics? What analytics are these coaches using? Not sure there’s been many times where a football team up 21-6 has gone for it in there own territory. I like Dave but he single handedly allowed Oklahoma St. to be in this football game. Punt the ball.

I have no problem with going for it. I imagine most analytical models would say it was the right call.
The actual playcall and execution left a lot to be desired though.

That’s what I’m talking about. I mean I can understand going for it on the other teams 30-35 or something but on your own 35 up 21-6? No that’s just fricking stupidity.
