Been saying the whole year qauterman is a virus. HE is not the man on this team and cannot deal with it. He is a selfish player trying to impress the NBA and all he has done is hurt his chances.

There is the possibility that the players are just not good at basketball at the collegiate level.

Don't think that's the case Mike. I've seen this team when they want to play. They have good enough players.

They were overhyped pre-season and the expectations were based on no real quantitative data.
They were picked to finish fourth in the conference. And Victor is actually better than I expected. I think underachieving is still a better term for this team than overhyped.

They have never really gelled as a team and they lack serious fundamentals.

On this I agree. I believe the Alpha thing between Q and Simmons has affected both negatively and they've seemed to regress as the season has gone on.

But the effort and the deer in the headlights look yesterday, there is really no excuse for that. The announcers mentioned several times the body language of the team before the game they could tell something was wrong. They obviously noticed and talked about it before the game even started because they mentioned it several times during the broadcast.

Insert obligatory "Les Miles has lost control of the basketball program" joke here.
