A sweep would be huge for SEC

Their best pitcher hurt her ankle on Saturday and might not be able to go this weekend.

Forget the SEC, would be great for us (LSU)!

Hoover will need to pitch a lot better than she has been. A bad Arky team knocked her around pretty good last weekend. I'm not sure why she changed her wind up motion, but she hasn't been as effective as last season. She seems to squat down further and stay down longer before releasing the ball. All that extra movement has got to be tiring over the course of a game.

I thought the same thing. She was trying out some crazy different windup during the fall, but I thought she went back to her normal windup. Do you still see that much difference? She does seem to get tired quicker. She need the offense to get her a lead early more this year to be the most effective.

I think she changed her pitching motion because she added a screwball. I that is the pitch that keeps getting away from her.........

Looks like Hoover lost a little weight also. I wonder if that is hurting her pitching.

hoover's weight loss may have an impact but in long run have to think it helps her control wise and maybe endurance. If we play our "A" game we can make run in CWS, but if UF brings their A game no one is beating them in SEC or NCAA
