Shoutout to the players, coaches and fanbase

Obviously the last week or two have been hectic. But looking back on the season and being a long time basketball fan with me growing up with Chris Jackson, Shaq, Stanley Roberts, Vernel Singleton, Maurice Williamson, Sims etc. It was awesome to relive those moments this year esp down the home stretch.

With so much expectations coming into the season and all the new faces we saw. Then the Sims tragedy happened and it put everything sort of in perspective in general. Then after that we came out and were terrible on defense, couldn't finish games, couldn't guard the 3pt line. It was a pretty frustrating then losing leads and getting handled by Okie St. after the FSU loss

Then we turn the corner, the players turned the corner. The staff adjusted, Wade especially and our team just started churning out W's. Yes they were stressful wins but you could see it building. Then we go to Rupp and beat them on their own floor. Watching that game I started to feel like man we can hang, then that changed to "We are just better" It felt awesome to say that. And we get the W

Tennessee comes in and Tre isn't playing and I'm like damn we had all the momentum and now this. The kids just gutted it out and man the PMAC and you guys the fans made it so fun again!!! After all the dead dome talk over the last few years and the first home games of the year. The PMAC rocked that night and has been rocking since.

Last Saturday night was so much fun watch the team come full circle in the midst of our ignorant decision making by the powers at be. The LSU basketball fanbase came together, cheered their butts off and showed the powers at be and esp. the players who they supported.

It's the kids!! Congrats to them! Congrats coaches and congrats to the real LSU basketball fans! It's been great even if it may be for a small amount of time it feels good to see the community and the state to get behind this team. I won't forget this run anytime soon and will enjoy it.
