Because they beat Texas.
Texas is ahead of A&M
A&M is ahead of LSU

Pretty simple

Yall don't understand how this works, but okay. Obviously it isn't so simple to you.

It only works that way is Georgia loses and the tiebreaker is Tennessee, LSU, A&M, and Texas

Head-to-head competition among the tied teams

I mean it’s literally the first tie breaker listed. You can disagree if you want, but you’re wrong

You are ignoring the other 5 tie-breaker rules... I'm not wrong whatsoever about this.

It’s not all of the “rules”.

They use the “first” tie-breaker & if it doesn’t solve the tie, then they move to the 2nd tie-breaker.

First one solves it in this scenario.

You sound stubborn

But the first tie breaker doesn’t solve the tie. The transitive property I.e Texas>A&M>LSU in your scenario does not apply because Texas and LSU don’t play. It’s literally written in the first tiebreaker section under “if there is not a complete round robin” and there isn’t in this case.

Straight from the SEC website:

“if no team either beat all the other tied teams or lost to all the other tied teams, all the tied teams advance to the next tiebreaker procedure.”

Texas would have beaten A&M but didn’t play LSU
A&M would have beaten LSU but not Texas
LSU would lost to A&M but didn’t play Texas

And the same situation applies if there is a 4th team in the mix.
