Only 11 Teams out of a possible 20 have played in BCS National Title games.
3 Teams have been there 3 times and have managed only 3 victories in 9 trips.
Only 1 team has won twice. LSU – “03” and “07”
The SEC is perfect in Title game play 4 – 0.
9 teams have won it at least 1 time.
2 teams never won it.
40% of the Titles have gone to the SEC.
20% to the Big 12.
The remaining 40% has been scattered over a few other conferences.

If Title game wins is any indication the SEC is the best conference in football, closely followed by the Big 12. USC, who cannot play by the rules (agreed to the BCS Title arrangement) has only 1 National Championship during the BCS years, not 2. There is no possible split National Title under the current conditions.

As of this writing I see Florida and Oklahoma returning for an opportunity to play for a second Crystal Ball; joining LSU with 2 BCS Titles. Florida will be victorious over Alabama in the SEC Championship game and Oklahoma will beat Oklahoma State in their final game of the season and Missouri in the Big 12 Title game.
