exactly, that was a beautiful trap play last season. That is what TH loves to do, strait up the field, one cut, and gone.

I'm glad someone else on here finally agrees with me about TH...Lester gets really aggravating because he argues with everything I say. Hell, if I said it was dark outside right now, he would say that he is overseas somewhere where it is daylight

the guy has heart... i love him... but we forecast every time we use him... A more subtle use of him would be big - hope the coaches learn this.

he is pretty damn close to Sproles, given the oppurtunity TH could do a lot of the same things as the former Kansas State back.

what you talking about coaches??? Miles is the problem! How can't he see that he needs to put TH in for about 20 offensive plays and NOT give it to him for about 11 of those??? So, the 9 or so times that he does get the ball go for huge plays! We would also be using him as a huge decoy for those other 11 plays that he doesn't get the ball!!1 Seems like fundamental football to me???

Could you imagine if Meyer could have gotten his hands on Holliday?

Wow. Okay. Like I said, I think he's under-utilized. Other than the point that I love the guy, I simply meant that when we bring him into our offensive formations, we telegraph it to the defense. If we can incorporate him more into traditional sets.... then he might have more success.

Hey Paco, I completley agree with everything that you said. I think Trindon is one heck of a back and I just hope that the coaches get him more involved in the game next season. And for anyone who thinks he is too small, soft, etc, in the Peach Bowl, Trindon completley ran over a GT saftey and put him on his back. TH is the real deal and I love this guy . . . can't wait to see him in 09!

appreciate it, and I respect the view of posters like Lester and SloFlo too. If we were looking at averages, TH wouldn't have a chance of making it in the NFL. The problem is I always look at more than the obvious, no matter if the guy is a friend of mine or not. Also, I don't think any of these "expert posters" gave me a valid explanation of why TH can't make it. Too small and can't juke aren't valid points to me, many successful NFL RBs prove that. IE Sproles

I agree, size doesn't matter. It's not about the size of the dog in the fight, but the fight in the dog. Sproles is a great example of that. Alot of guys in Trindon's position might get upset and raise heck about not getting enough touches, etc., but not with Trindon. He seems to be handling the whole thing with nothing but class. As long as Trindon keeps working hard, his time will come and he will show all his doubters what he's capable of, i'm sure of that.

Do you guys read the posts, or just fire off your opinions and click? Read what I said before you direct a reply to me.

No, I understood what you said. I think that guy just took what you said and turned it around. The coaches deff. need to use him as a decoy. If you are going to give him the ball everytime he gets in i'd rather you leave him off the field.

No problem with you. We all like T.H., and I can leave it at that.

okay you idiot, there is no doubting that trindon is a good back but to say that he is on the level of a sproles is about the most far fetched, uninformed thing you can say. Sproles ran up and down the field in college and did the same tonight against the Colts. If you aren't educated enough in the art of football to know these guys are now where near comparable then you really shouldn't even be on this board, along with the other thousand or so idiots who like to post on here but have no football knowledge once so ever.

what the hell is your problem. You can't call me an idiot for saying Trindon is comparable to Sproles. I gave several examples of why I thought this and never looked down on anyone for not agreeing with me. You are an elitist punk that obviously has problems. Just because you may not agree doesn't make me an idiot.

No offense to Trindon, but Sproles is 10x the player Trindon could ever be. He dominated at KState, he's been a consistent threat in the NFL.

2006 = avg 12 ypc
2007 = avg 6.9 ypc

I'm not sure what his 2008 stats are, but you would think with that type of productivity that he would get the ball more.

I stated earlier that I think once he gets out of LSU and has a good RBs coach I really think he will become more of a complete back. Sproles was the man at KS, he ran the ball 15+ times a game. I think Trindon has tons of potential and will show some of that if he gains 10 pounds or so. He is not scared of contact, and that should help him as he learns and gains some size. You can always gain size and technique. Right now, he has a shitty opportunity. It's a prime example of you ranters that suggest Miles doesn't use the talent to it's full potential. I also share the same opinion on Murphy and Jones. I think those players are a rare talent and we aren't seeing the real ability of those players. This is why I think Trindon has the potential of oneday being the same kind of back as Sproles. I'm not saying he IS Sproles right now, but he is comparable and I think TH will show that in a few years.

I dont think yall give enough credit to Trindon. He does lack the Jukes and has a lot of problems makingpeople miss other than just running by them, but if he got more carries per game i think he would shine a little bit more and agree they should def put him in more plays that he doesnt touch the ball.

Sproles is in the top 10 of ALL-TIME rushing yards in college.
