posts like this never go anywhere but arguments, and there's no rational way to argue a list just because every coach has been at every school for different times and every situation is different.

That said:

1) Saban
2) Meyer
3) Miles
4) Richt
5) Nutt
6) Everyone else

*Spurrier has lost his mojo
*Chizik had one year that LSU fans would consider a failure under Miles
*Dooley, Mullen, Phillips haven't proven shite
*Johnson is disadvantaged, though I think a good coach
*Petrino has had one horrible year and one average year and brought in a horrible recruiting class

I don't care what Les's resume says, but to be ranked higher than Nutt is stupid. Nutt clearly owns Miles. Dan Mullen with a weak team who doesn't even sniff the amount of talent we have, almost beat us by a foot. Les Miles is not top 5 in the SEC.

1. Meyer
2. Saban
3. Nutt
4. Richt
5. Petrino
6. Miles
7. Mullen
8. Gene Chizik
the rest

I am a what have you done for me lately person. Lately he has sucked.

You posted this 3 days before National Signing Day:

Every thing Miles does is dropping off. His coaching and now recruiting.

Can you explain your EPIC FAIL of your post regarding Sinning Day & your "What have you done for me lately" belief?

In his horrible year, he beat us.
In his average year, he took us into overtime in our own backyard.

Why does Nutt clearly own Miles?

Miles is 2-3 lifetime against Nutt. One game was a triple OT loss by 2 points. Only one game in the entire series hasn't been in question at the end (last year).

That's not really "owning."

So we are now judging a coach solely by his success against one school? Makes no sense...

What is our record against Arkansas the last three years?

What is our record against Ole Piss the last three years?

Les is 0-3 against Nutt the last three years. I think he is owned.

So I guess Nutt was owned until 3 years ago, because he was 0-2 against Les?

3-2
2-3
3-2
3-2
1-2

12-11

Hardly terrible. Now take into account that 7 losses are to top 10 teams and 5 losses are to top 5 teams(3 against national championship teams)

Les Miles is 3-2 against both of those schools. Selecting certain years is petty. Your agenda is dying..

I think les is tied for first in recruiting. You have to remember, Les pulls in these recruits with 4 and 5 loss seasons. Saban and Meyer do it with NC's in the past two years.

Why? Will Freak, Collins, Hilliard, Landry, Hill, Magee & White and the other members of LSU's 2011 Top Ranked signing class be heading somewhere other than LSU?
