He reiminds me of coach Bryant and everytime I say that on here I catch shite for it but he has always reminded me of coach Bryant. One of the things that made coach Bryant so successful was that everybody liked him and I think you can't help but like Coach Miles.

Thats a big time compliment IMO

Careful though, when $abun leaves bama may try to get Coach Miles TOO

BamaScoop, I always knew you're all right! Thanks for the words of wisdom...I just wish more of our own fans would see the same positives that you do.

"Do we lose any of our secondary??"

We lose Chris Hawkens. Jai will have a great year next year. PP, CJ, Brandon Taylor all = a pretty tight secondary

You certainly have a right to your opinion but I disagree with you.

Scoop if you were sincere in your post (which I have no reason to believe you weren't), I have to say that was one of the classiest posts I have ever read - and a model for many of us.....

Thought the same thing several times. Especially when you watch their half time interviews.

Sideline interview

Miles is a class act. The team does reflect his image.

As a side note I sure hope he is starting fires along the proper channels about the officiating.

Miles is a class act and his team reflects that. I gained a lot of respect for him on how he handled the Michigan thing before the SECCG. That took a lot of character IMO.

I also love his sound bites.

The biggest problem for Miles is that Alabama is a resurgent force in the West with none other than Saban leading the charge. Had one or both of those realities not come about, Miles would be seen in a wholly different light.

The most telling thing to me about Miles, other than this Peterson interception controversy, was the Michigan fiasco. For a man to turn down his dream job to coach a team that obviously meant so much to him says volumes about the man's character. I like & respect Saban's coaching abilities, but there is no way in hell that you can be sure he would make the same choice.

I agree. Les is a well respected man. Look at the way Saban (not that there isnt other, he was just the first one I thought of) acted after the penalty for too many men on the field. He threw his headset! There was no need for that at all. You don't see Les doing things like that and it makes me proud to say he is the LSU coach. He doesn't act like a hot head on national tv and I respect him for that.

We don't say anything about Miles. It is you that is insinuating negativity about Miles, not us.

Nice try.

However, if you want to see a liar, go see Saban.
