The use of fireworks and other celebratory items is acceptable IMO. Hell I even encourage it. With one stipulation.

Can you just wait 20-30 seconds till you set them off?

Keep in mind that there are those of us that stream the game and have a slight delay. When you’re locked and loaded like it’s 11:59 on NYE so the moment something positive happens in the game you light up the sky it can ruin it for others. Be patient. Maybe actually enjoy the moment with friends and family for a minute or so before indulging your hidden pyro. It would be appreciated by others in the neighborhood.

I’ve noticed it’s everywhere regardless of where you live. One person thinks “hey I need to let everyone in a 4 mile radius of me know that our team just did something good! HONEY! Where’s the Back Up Terry fireworks?!?!?”

I’ve had people over, kids screaming and running around, tv full blast and it doesn’t matter. We already know that the next play or so will be something great. There’s no fun in that. Just don’t be that guy. Or feel free to be that guy but just calm down and blast em a minute or so AFTER the play has happened.
