I’m pretty sure this prediction is based on what JJ said in that interview about how he likes to construct his lineup in that thread you posted. That’s the only thing I’m going on by putting him there. He’s certainly not close to a traditional 9-hole hitter. But he gives Milazzo a little protection to hopefully get a few more fastballs. If that even matters.

Doughty hitting anywhere 1-4 wouldn’t shock me if you listen to how JJ likes to construct his lineup and how he’s been talking up Doughty so much. I’d have predicted leadoff until the last few scrimmages where he’s been in the 4-hole. But him and Morgan flip-flopping makes a ton of sense, too for what JJ’s trying to do. My lineup prediction is based on Maine throwing a RH tonight btw.
