Yes, a man who played college ball, coached his entire adult life and is bound for the college hall of fame doesn’t understand baseball fundamental and you know more!

I could count on two hands the number of bunts CPM has called for in his entire tenure at LSU. Si
If his entire tenure was about one month of last season, you are probably still wrong.

My point is, in the top of the 9th inning last night we had a man on first and second base with zero outs and CPM has the batter swing away. Then we fortunately end up with runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out. As opposed to a squeeze bunt and a chance to tie the game we allow them to intentionally walk the next batter setting up a perfectly played double play to end the game and begin their world renowned light show.

Read between the lines folks. Two obvious bunting situations and CPM is asleep at the wheel.

which resulted in runners on 2 and 3...just as a well executed, non pop up bunt may have done.

hang on a fricking minute, we had a choice in that

and if we had bunted we end up right where we are IF we bunt it well. And then of course we have to not allow them to intentionally walk our batter. I dont know how to pull that off.
