I bought some nice framed black and white photos of Pistol Pete and Bert Jones for LSU Sports.net.

My crap that you speak of is a great talking piece by anyone who loves LSU. You are the first person who has ever spoke negatively about it, but you are entitled to your own opinion. This piece also benefited LSU art & athletic programs while it was on sale at the LSU art museum, and I must say it is a great investment piece. It has tripled in resale value since January. Like I said, I paid $500 & it's now going for around $1500. I can only assume the value will continue to increase.

I have one and actually have a few of his pieces. If you have the original silk screen ones, which it appears you do, they will be worth much much more in a few years. Anything, and I mean anything that he does in a limited addition is never a waste of money.

I'd recommend another artist, Tony Bernard, who is also licensed by LSU and does some great stuff as well, he worked with Rodrigue for many many years.
