NCAA Men's Golf Championship Tournament 1st Round update - LSU +20 - 16th

In the first round of the NCAA Men's Golf Championship in Fayetteville, the LSU men's team finished round 1 at +19 and is currently in 16th place with numerous teams on the course and some just teeing off. Tough first day for the Tigers, but this is one tough golf course. Scores for all teams are thru the roof and the afternoon group has not even teed off yet. LSU only had 8 birdies between all 5 golfers. The lower seeds play this afternoon, so LSU's position will probably get worse. LSU will need to be in the top 15 after Day 2 to advance to Day 3. Top 8 teams after Day 3 advance to match play.
