That list is terrible. Just because Clemson had one close game doesn’t mean anything.

You're absolutely right. One close game does not take them out of the running for best team in the nation. Especially a game in which UNC played so well and inspired. Close games are not a disqualifier.

Unfortunately for Clemson, that's not what has people worried. Trevor Lawrence against P5 teams (Syr, TAMU, UNC, GT) is:

77/127 (61%), 6 TD, 5 INT, 4 Rush TD.

He's been bad through the air. IMO There is an elite tier of QBs right now and Lawrence isn't in there. Couple that with their elite defensive line gone to the NFL and that's the reason people are not high on Clemson.

1) OSU (most complete team in college football)
2) Bama (questions remain for their defense)
3) UGA (Offense not there)
4) LSU (Defense isn’t there yet)
5) OU (Defense still a question mark)
6) Clemson (Nothing I’ve seen from Clemson tells me they’re one of the top 5 teams in the country)
7) Auburn (still not sold on Bo Nix yet)
8) Wisconsin (dominant D; less than stellar O)
9) Notre Dame (they’re legit)
10) Texas

Since we are all playing..

1. Bama - they may have holes, but still the most complete team.
2. LSU
3. Auburn - tough and playing with a chip, played the hardest schedule so far
4. OSU
5. Oklahoma
6. Clemson
7. Wisconsin
8. Georgia - too soft, poorly coached
9. Texas
10. Notre Dame

After the top 6, it's anyone's guess.

I'll rate them by how I think they are in the three phase of the game

Team Offense Defense Special Teams
OSU...good....good....good
LSU....good....???.....good
Bama..good....???.....BAD
Okla..good....?????...good
Clem...OK...good....OK
UGA....OK...good....OK

The season is young and every team has a chance to improve.

This is an eye test only rating, not looking at schedule strength, since many have had no real test yet, although there are many real tests ahead for most of these teams, well, maybe not Clemson.

You just pulled this right out of your arse.

Statistically, they have one of the worst special teams in the country.

Statistically, their defense is worse than LSU and Auburn.

Why do people make shite up? All you do is muddy the conversation and put out false information.

They are also scoring a ton of points, and scoring quickly like we are, which skews the data. Don't be a fool and think for a second that BAMA's defense is still not talented and tough.
