spanish common law.
louisiana has a very rich history of occupation by spain, france, spain, napoleonic france. it is not the frence napoleonic code.
the french quarter is spanish architecture.
louisiana is mostly based on the spanish common law.
France controlled this vast area from 1699 until 1762, the year it ceded the territory to Spain. Under Napoleon Bonaparte, France took back the territory in 1800 in the hope of re-establishing an empire in North America. A slave revolt in Haiti and an impending war with Britain, however, led French officials to abandon these plans and sell the entire territory to the United States, which had originally sought only the purchase of New Orleans and its adjacent lands. Somebody please look at this guy's posts
He comes on here to brag up his 10th grade son and pretend that he's good enough to play at LSU and when we gets a bunch of smartass answers from the rant (go figure) he runs back to the Mizzou board to try the same thing. Hopefully the attention whoring goes better over there.
Btw here's a tip for you: if your son was good enough to play at the #1 program in the country then you'd be able to contact Mainieri about this and he'd gladly help him pick a major. The recruiting process for most of my friends/teammates that went to LSU started in 10th grade and was wrapped up by 11th without their daddies sitting on tigerdroppings all day. Instead of wasting your time and energy on a forum you should sign your son up with Perfect Game/Under Armour/whatever showcase is popular nowadays and attend college camps. If he's good enough the coaches will contact him and answer any questions you have. Good luck

Wow. I checked it out and he has his feelings hurt by the answers he got from the Rant. I actually thought he got some pretty decent answers overall

I spent the first 20 years of my life playing baseball and trust me when I say that parents like him don't want legitimate answers, they want to be told how much everybody wants little Timmy on their team. He was looking to get his arse kissed and went elsewhere when it didn't happen

not uncommon to graduate making 6 figures your first year
Yeah fricking right. The only people that make 6 fivures immediately after graduating are sales people that get it oN commission.

Most parents think their kids are the next Nolan Ryan.
If the kid is that good then LSU will be contacting him...

Business, economics or engineering are all solid. Engineering will most likely get him a job pretty easily.
