Easy there, Big Shooter. Lets let Murphy get a few more carries under his belt before we anoint him as the second coming of Walter Payton.

It seems to early to compare Murphy to a great runner like Marcus Allen. However I can see similarities in their style. I always thought Murphy reminds me a lot of Harvey Williams. Both guys are shifty and seem to run straight up.

that's assuming you know that he doesn't but I have personally witnessed Trindon make some fairly impressive grabs along the sideline.

no, thats from about watching in about 10 practices since he got here and he hasn't been able to catch a cold.

Enough with the analogies. Murphy is a good player and he should produce this year.

TH is NOT a replacement for Murphy, get off the crackpipe. TH is a situational player who is effective in certain designed sets in favorable down an distance situations. I love Trindon but he's not an ever down back like Murph.

Plus Murph is from Rayville (like me). Hornets rule!

This dude has the swivel-hips, smoothness and acceleration/speed of Marcus ALlen, combined with the toughness and "run through them" spirit of Terry Robiskie.

I cannot wait to see him blow up on the defenses in 2008

murphy just has not broken through the big backs that are in front of him. when they graduate next year murphy will be the man to watch. i'm telling you now he will be a 1200 yd rusher and a 300 yd receiver.
