Those who say UGA are fooling themselves. I see this often on the rant.

Ask UGA fans, I bet they say their season is more disappointing in terms of what they expected.

LSU fans (w/ brains) knew this was a rebuilding year w/ new QB and that LSU would likely lose 3 games, have no real shot at SEC title or national title. Now we lost more games than we expected, but we will still play in a mid tier bowl. Preseason expectations were not through the roof.

Georgia had EVERYONE coming back from last years Sugar Bowl team, have No.1 QB and RB prospects in NFL draft, were preseason No. 1, EXPECTED to win SEC and play for national title. They have not come close to any of their goals. They have come nowhere close to living up to national expectations. That is "more disappointing" if you ask me. Georgia pissed away a golden opportunity in what was viewed as "their year" in the SEC. 3 regular season losses is tough to swallow when you expect a perfect season or 1 loss at worst.

Honestly, how often do you really think a team wins a NC? We have 2 in a 5 year period. Yes, we performed horribly and did not accomplish our goal which was to CHALLENGE and possibly win the SEC west.

On the other hand, it is easier to accept considering we have won 2 titles of recent. Imagine being UGA. They have not won since 1980. With ALL the wins they have since then and the talented teams, they have nothing to show more than some SECC's. They came into this season FULLY expecting a shot at a NC, which was gone after the Bama game. Can you imagine how that would feel? I live here in Atlanta. I work with TONS of UGA fans. A chance at a title only comes along so often, it is disheartening when a season like that passes you by. Especially, when lot of fans have NEVER witnessed a NC. UGA has a f'ing boat load of wins (hollowed victories as I call them) with no NC. At some point you start questioning everything from coaching to the the AD. UGA recruits VERY WELL so talent is not considered an issue.

It does not make our season any easier to stomach and we still have our own issues, imagine that we didn't win a title last year and went 7-5 this year.

I understand that. I thought we'd lose 3. Did any of yo uthink we'd give up FIFTY twice? Get manhandled by Ole Miss? Lose to Arkansas who barely beat ULM?
