I never said he shouldn't stand up for himself/team. I said I thought it was a cheap shot. It's human nature to stand up for yourself even if your wrong. However, he gets a paycheck because of the LSU fans. If he was indeed talking to the fans, then he's a fool.
So to answer your question, yes, if i was in his position, I probably would just keep my mouth shut.
To make myself very clear, his comments didn't at all make me mad or really affect me in any way. I was just throwing my opinion in. At the time of the comments the only emotion I had was excitement about the win. I just thought it a bit arrogant given the way things have played out the last few weeks, then he squeaks by again and all of the sudden feels like he can raise his chin to all of his naysayers. He has yet to do anything to disprove a negative word said about him thus far.
It is possible to be critical of Miles and still support the tigers! I hope the guy wins every game and stays here for 25 more years if he keeps winning.

I personally thought he was talking about the fans, since I'm pretty sure that's what the question for Holly Rowe inferred. With that said...I was happy with his answer...no matter WHO he was talking about. Basically telling the negatigers...media and fans...STFU.

If any of you have anything to say but the LSU team gutted out that victory with great QB play, great defense, great line play, excellent play calling, superb time management, and a gutsy, gutsy fake field goal, you will never be happy, you are not a true Tiger or football fan, and you can pretty much kiss my arse!
