Absolutely. Especially with Lafell and Dickson leaving. There are balls to caught. Who is going to step up and catch them? His athleticism provides so many matchup problems as long as he's not a liability in the running game.

By the way, I know everybody around here loves Dickson, but Peterson could be twice the receiver Dickson was out of the TE position. Though I'd assume he wouldn't be as easy to slip behind the LBs into the middle of the field. They'll likely be aware of where he is. Which could open up or WRs even more.

“He could have played a pile of football,” Miles said of Peterson. “Would love to have seen him play more. Stuff he was capable of doing, he just at times didn’t understand at what level we play.”

just like a coach that is capable of coaching us to a BCS title not understanding when to call a FREAKING TIMEOUT!!!!!!

Miles was saying DP didn't have the want to have the want that he wanted DP to have. So DP needs to have the want to have the want that Miles wants him to have.

WTF does this even mean?

Maybe Peterson thought we played in the Playoff Subdivision of Division I college football? He had not yet completed the course which explains that we play in the Bowl Subdivision of college football. This stuff can be confusing. You can't just put anyone out there on the field you know.

Miles knows what he is doing. Just Trust him, he makes millions of dollars/year.

Does he judge the offensive linemen who play on the ability to block?

In DP's only start this year, he catches 2 TD passes, one of them a brilliant catch I might add. If he doesn't understand, then why is he in position to make big plays (not once, but twice in ONE game), then he never sees the field again?
Exactly

overreact much?

Only when an imposter of a coach comes in and leads a top 5 program right into the cellar by LSU's standards.

We were almost LAST in the country in offense. How can any comment be overreacting at this point? He handles nothing correctly lately and is ok with status quo, he learned that well at Ok St
