Massive win for the program

I don’t know what will happen the remainder of the season, but after watching every single top 10 team play several weeks… both of those teams are playoff caliber this season.
Morning Thoughts —
- Thinking back to CBK pounding the table after USC, frustrated about “not finishing”… We finally take one late. So satisfying and exactly what the team needed.
- So impressed with Blake Baker and the significant improvement of the defense. Our line was nasty and the cornerbacks finally played like we’re used to seeing on the outside. Weeks has been a true leader on the field.
- Nuss was hot and cold but made some big time throws when we needed him. The game tying TD was pro level.
- Ramos is clutch.
I will keep my one complaint simple. If Nuss is simply not confident in his own ability to run, which very well just might be the case, then we have GOT to abandon the read option. Our backs are sitting ducks when everyone can sell out. Without a true running game, it’s going to be tough to get where we want to go.
All that said. So proud of the team for staying in a tough, physical, and just wild football game with way too many stoppages. Say what you want about CBK, but this win is a reflection of player development, plain and simple.
Everything still in front of us…
