Malcolm White is a stud. He had his best games of the year against Mississippi State and Varnado.

Also, while he is originally from Louisiana, he did transfer to a prep school in Mississippi. Hence, signing with Ole Miss.

All these guys that transfer out of state to these prep schools can barely be considered local guys at that point.

White will have two years of eligibility left. If you considered him to be a junior college player, he would no doubt be the top junior college player in the country.

I've heard that we were very interested so I hope this is the case. While I would love a guy like Brandon West, I don't know if our APR can afford to take a chance on the kid. Brady screwed us bigtime.

Well it makes sense that our apparent lack of interest in West is directly related to Malcolm White.

Same size, same position, but White is eligible and West is not.

Yeah. But I would really like to have them both because we've never had that sort of size or depth on the block. jabari was the last true big man we had and that was eight years ago.
