Book it! All OSU has to do is give all the Pac12, Big12, Big 10, ACC, and Big East voters a reason to vote for them. No way those guys, especially Midwest voters will go for a all SEC BCSNCG! A SEC rematch? Ain't gonna happen...OSu beats OU by 10+ and they are in....only to be crushed by LSU...lol

It is definitely possible. If you want to avoid a rematch root for:

ND over Stanford
UVA/Clemson over VT
Ok St over OU (big would help)

VT and Stanford have no chance of making the title game, but do have the chance to take votes away from OSU trying to catch Bama.

I actually believe this could easily happen. If they win convincingly over OK, the voters could vault them past Alabama. Now, I don't for a minute think they would be deserving but the BCS is what it is and there's a heap of voters looking for some excuse not to see 2 SEC teams face off. From one view as fan, I'd rather play OSU believing they would be the easier opponent. From another side, I also believe the best 2 teams in the country should be there and in my mind, that's LSU and Bama. One thing's for sure, we don't have long to wait 'til it shakes out.

I definately think Bama is the 2nd best team, but I think what's happening right now is the media outlets are making Bama the clear cut team to make it to the game in order to create controversy when OSU jumps them the final week. I tend to agree that many voters won't want to see the rematch just like 06. If Bama seems to have been left out, then there's something to debate on TV later on. Ratings whores.
