LSU Season - First Third of Season Status + Look-a-head.

We scored at will in the first 4 games, and are 4-0, with a "Top-10 road win", a Group of 5 win (GaSo), a cupcake win with class (NWSt), and a SEC road win to go 1-0 in the league. And Oh, our QB is a Heisman candidate and the talk of college football.
The D is far from the level we all expected, and the injury to Divinity hurts bad. Yet, while the D has been a let down, injuries and a learning curve of Arandas 4th year adjusted scheme, and also the D having to learn how to return to the field after quick offensive scores, explain a lot of the learning curve & struggles. Oh, the special teams are a strength.
All in all, the first 4 games, first third of regular season, are good, and we are well postured for the off week and the next 4 games... with plenty to keep us focused, and to prepare us...before the second off week before going to T-Town to start the last third of the season.
Injuries, aside from the one to Divinity, are handle-able. Jefferson is good, Marshall will likely return in 4-5 weeks, and Chaisson, Lawrence and others will be onboard for Utah State.
The next 4 games are perfect for us.
A respectable Utah State team that will give us the perfect test of a regrouped D in 2 weeks...then Florida at home, Miss St on the road, and The Barn at home.
That is near perfect.
Our D is being incrementally developed, and this stretch is perfect for that
We are good baws.
Put down the anti-depressants, and enjoy this special season ride.
