That's great and all but the state of Texas puts out 800 div1 players a year. Look at how much talent Oklahoma leeches out of the state. Sharing a state doesn't inhibit them at all. Florida can sustain at least 2/3 competitive programs consistently. California can supply the talent for an entire conference.
They have an endowment that is 20x the size of LSU's and are set to expand their stadium to 100k. Also, they can offer the SEC when Texas can't. To suggest that they don't have all the resources to become a powerhouse is just naive.
