I'm not certain, but I think that the cable ties that help hold the roof up are going to have arch construction too. If you look at the pictures, you can see that they're being surrounded by bricks going towards the roof. I'm guessing there will be arches at the top.

It's a COLLEGE. Colleges teach STUDENTS. That's the reason you HAVE a college. I'm 48 y.o., went to LSU in late 70s/early 80s, had my run, had a blast. Time for the old farts to let a new generation enjoy being a student at LSU and actually go to the games.

This is so obviously a ploy to make more money at the expense of the students. Typical b.s. Nobody here really believes that this guy actually believes what he is saying, do they? Face it, LSU Football is no longer about the students and team pride, it's about money. Plain and simple. Taking away seats from students is his effort to get more wealthy corporate types to come to the games and spend their money.
Imagine a high school football game where there are no students there......instead, a bunch of 60 year old men in suits who could give 2 shits about the school sit in the stands and "entertain" clients. That is the image I get every time I hear that the school (you know, the one to whom the students pay tuition) wants to take away student seats for some bullshite reason. Students should have first priority.....they pay tuition and make the university what it is, period. Ok...I'm through ranting.
