LSU football in the last 10 years or so

This isn’t a bash Les Miles post and I don’t want it to become that. Just want to state that first and foremost. He did some really good things for us and I’m definitely grateful. With that being said, I constantly go on YouTube and watch games from these last 10-12 years and see how often we made winning so much harder than it had to be. If we couldn’t power run against you, it became a defensive battle and we would pull out victory a lot of times because of the talent on D. I think about when Les Miles’ mother passed away and we beat Ole Miss I believe. Everyone was proud to have him as our coach because of the man he is. And that’s not a bad thing. But look at the game and I realize Ole Miss was ranked #3, but to have to have a late touchdown to get to 10 points to beat an overrated team at home just made me wonder how often we never put teams away minus 2011 and a few other times where our talent just took over. I think that’s why fans today are shocked and excited to finally see a complementary team on offense and defense. Hopefully they can help each other out going forward.

There were plenty of games that were similar to that Ole Miss game as well.
