I don’t understand. We have always had studs on defense. What happened?

Secondary will be the same next year.
I remember when LSU use to sign 5 star DB studs who would start on day one.
Now we are lucky to get a transfer from Nicholls or Northwestern State who will start when they arrive b/c they are the best option.
