Looking at UGA: Can fans admit not taking a RB was a mistake last yr?

I know this has probably been discussed, and no I don't know more than Les, but I just can't see how we go all of '12 and '13 recruiting cycles without a single RB.
I mean, I guess Brazil may play RB, but I highly doubt he's a feature back, at least not in Les' system.
UGA went into this season with Gurley and Marshall and 2 highly touted backs in Sony Michel and Nick Chubb that were committed to them. Why on earth would they take 3 RBs in '13?
They took Douglas, JJ Green, and Quayvon Hicks.
Thank god they did too as both Gurley and Marshall went out.
RB is a position if you're going to run a pro offense that you can never have enough of.
LSU will probably be okay assuming LF doesn't spurn us and he isn't a bust, but I don't see how one can justify not taking a RB in our offensive style in our conference for two years in a row.

Meh, we're not UGA. It's not that often that you lose your top two backs to injury.

Lsu will take three RB's this year IMO

Why do you complain so much?

LF will not be a bust. If he spurns LSU than LSU is screwed.

Miles has lost control of UGAs RB depth!!!

I'll atleast give you the credit for being consistent. You have be complaining about this for months. Answer is still no. You over play the sky is falling dramatic too much.

I like it.
I'd like to see us pull in LF, obviously. But it'd be great to have a signing day surprise like Bower at the RB position.

Hicks is a fullback.
UGA is four deep at RB after that recruiting class.
This year LSU is 4 deep at RB. Next year LSU will be 4 deep at RB with Hilliard, Magee, Fournette, and Palelei.

Wouldn't be so sure about that.

Wehre did I say sky was falling? Simply stating that not taking a RB for 2 years in a row is a mistake and an unnecessary risk.

If LF Spurns LSU, the recruiting staff should be lined up and killed by a firing squad. Losing one Louisiana five-star was bad enough. Two or three would be criminal.
As for the original question, it's hard to quibble with our RB depth. Moreover, if we land LF, the gambit will have worked out perfectly.

Most close to him say he's gone....Just like everyone thought Ford or Ware would stay.

So the injuries that UGA RBs have taken affects us??
And Gurley will play this week. Not sure about Marshalls injury.
