Is paying Jim $7 million a year to average 3+ losses a yr.
I don’t know what Michigan did to the football gods, but it must’ve been bad.

That big coach was Mark Mangino and he had KU's program very competitive. They won the 2008 Orange Bowl, and the basketball team won the NC a couple months later. Kansas sports were rolling. Unfortunately, Mangino yelled at a player whose father happened to work for ESPN. He used his position at ESPN to get Mangino fired. The football program has been a mess ever since. Les Miles would bring his badly needed recruiting ability to the Midwest; and he'd be treated like royalty by the fans. It's a great mover for both parties.
