Typical Bama fans, try to injest there views into a thread about LSU and the remaining games on it's schedule. The sole reason Saban was brought up was to show the simularities of where our season is and where UA's was last year and yes Saban was the coach and YES you should have won some of the games you lost at the end of the season. Saban only has 1 NC as well and it was here NOT there. UF we make sure of that in Dec for this year also.

Miles is a great coach and the only thing he's truely guilty of is trying an experiment that has failed and only time will tell if is going to correct the mistake after the season. This is truely when you will see Miles merit and it's going to come in the form of motivation for THIS YEARS team, we are favored to win the remaining 3 games and if we do so I will call this season a success.

If we win the rest of the games remaining(including bowl) it will most definitely be a success considering the youth at qb and db's

You're right. Les Miles is amazing. I like to see an entire fanbase embrace a coach like you have. Like I've already said... I think LSU will win out the rest of the year. Enjoy.

I know one school that won't, and it's the one that has to play Florida in Atlanta.

Why? Because they beat the dog-shite out of you guys?

Watch.

I think it's funny that you douchebags want them to beat us, because they beat you.

Epic failure.

I'm not and I don't think anyone at LSU has ever stated he is the king of all coaches and there will never be another...

Wait that sounds like Bama fans referring to the bear and Saban... My mistake...

I said he is a great coach and the next 4 games we show that, if we flop in these next 4 games, like Bama last year, then I will restate my opinion... To this point he has done a very good job at LSU and nothing you or anyone can say will prove that incorrect. BTW please don't embarrass yourself and say he won with Sabans players.

And we don't want them to win because they beat us, we want them to win because you're you. UF has been playing lights out since the lose to Ole Miss and they show 0 signs of slowing down. Bama on the other hand has won 4 games being outscored on offense, that's not a good sign for a team that has to play UF averaging 43 points a game in the last 5 games.

I agree, but to compare the two situations is ludicrous.

Why?

LSU was the defending National Champs in 2004... loaded at almost every position... very inexperienced at QB, and we finished with 4 losses.

LSU is the defending National Champs in 2008... loaded at almost every position... very inexperienced at QB, and we will finish with ? losses...

The sole reason for me to post is that the two teams are so far from being comparable in talent that it's ridiculous to mention.

Sure, we lost two horrible games last year in ULM and MSU, but even with that crappy of a team, they held it together and never lost by more than 7. That's good considering the factors.

All I'm saying is the comparison is poor based on the teams not the coaches involved, but I'm sure if Saban were coaching LSU last weekend they would have won.

We may or may not have won last weekend with Saban as the coach but I can tell you this much UA losing 3 games to end the season last year was just as much coaching if not more then lack of talent. You can't play the eventual NC to that close of a game then fall flat on your face to ULM. The reason you lost that game was because you put all your faith into beating us and when you lost your COACH couldn't get you up to play ULM and you got beat.

The comparison starts there, as our COACH I believe will get our guys up, beat Troy, and go on to finish out the season with WINS not loses.

Does anyone remember this topic??????? I told ya'll that it was going to be huge for us last week and it almost came back to bite us in the arse.

Troy was our ULM, they couldn't rebound for our loss last year and for 2 1/2 quarters it looked like we couldn't from ours to them... Great job coaches and players in not letting it happen to OUR team, now lets keep it going for 3 more games(bowl game included)

What ever needs to be done, I trust LM's judgement. I’ve never seen a coach have to deal with so much and do so well… Shadow of previous coach, Hurricane evacuations, lack of off weeks in the schedule. (Leading to injuries at key positions) New OC, having to kick a bad attitude QB to the curb. (Knowing there would be a decline in productivity at that position.) That’s just coaching management….what about Les the man? Is there any doubt that this guy might be one of the best if not the best man Head coaching in the West maybe in 1A football. The guy passed on his Alma Mater (Dream Job) to honor his commitment to his team. (Loyalty) Commitment is not a word one can use describe any other coach in the west unless you say “Committed to themselves”. His record speaks for itself. Win last 3 or not Les has earned respect weather one chooses to give it or not.
